Looking at today’s technologies, there are many capabilities of creating a ‘hyper reality’, hiding the ‘truth’, the ‘reality’, the ‘actual’ and the ‘genuine’. As when looking at what we see, or think we see in “reality” TV today can be hidden through the editing of the program, through the mix of apparently ‘raw’ and ‘authentic’ material to a filtered outcome, where a multitude of media can radically shape to either stabilize a subject/event or destabilize it, dependant on the angle they chose.
